For the first poster, I used the a sketch I did for Motor City Mondays as a template A lot of the vintage racing posters that I found were of Monaco So i designed this poster as sort of an homage to those posters with the coastal backdrop and the look of the cars at the front.

Let me Introduce everyone to a spinoff to Motor City Mondays. This is called Motor City Mondays: The Deco Age. For the past few weeks, there has been a disappearance of motor city Mondays sketches. That's because I was in school and I was working on a whole new set of Motor City Mondays art pieces. During school, I rekindled my love of art deco design. So much so that I created a set of vintage looking racing posters as for Motor City Mondays. For 4 weeks I created posters that captured the spirit and look of the art deco style, in which I love so much. I started the Deco Age again this year with a new poster on my Facebook page, but On Deviantart, for the next four weeks you're gonna see the first four posters and then the newest posters that I will put up every Monday for this year.

Feedback Is apprecited and I hope you guys like it :).

I'll start up a new gallery folder for this so check back every Monday for a New MCM sketch and A Deco Age Sketch :)

I would say the lake looks a little off, perspectively speaking. I think you also show two ranges of mountains, one behind the other, but your choice of colors for the range in the distance sort of blends in with the clouds too much.
The car and it "jumping" at speed are nearly spot-on perfect. A good job overall.
